Krazy Days 2010
Heritage Days Parade- September 2009
We kicked off the store celebrations by participating in the Heritage Days Parade. We used my dad's 2010 Camero SS to grab the crowd's attention. Jeff's parents carried the banner in front, Audrey and I were in the car, and Sarah, Jeff, and Steph passed out candy and balloons.
Check out all the pictures from the parade up above!
I would also like to thank these people for all their help with this project:

Halloween Parade- October 31, 2009
We decided to take part in the Halloween parade for the kids this year. It kicked off at 10:00 a.m. We even dressed up in costumes to fit the part. Steph was Little Red Riding Hood, Jeff was the Geico Caveman, and I dressed up as a fortune teller. We even dressed up Toby, the dog, as a pirate. Candy and Mardi Gras beads were passed out to the kids. We figured the beads might last a little longer than the candy would! It was fun to see all the kids, parents, and other business owners dressed up!
Pictures of some of the kids during the parade, will be coming up above soon!
Opening Week- November 23, 2009
We opened our doors on November 23, 2009 and had a huge opening week turnout! The store looked great, and we had a ton of positive feedback! Check out the pictures taken by Jim and Maxine Dusatko!
Christmas Light Parade- December 5, 2009
We decided at the last moment to do a float for the McCook Chambers Christmas Light Parade. After calling some friends, we got a float together! Bruce Hagan let us borrow his "4 wheeling SUV" (for lack of a better word). Jeff and Shawn dressed up as Santas and drove it around, with presents wrapped in the back. Steph, Mason, Chantel, and I walked beside it and handed out candy canes.
Pictures were courtesty of Jim and Maxine Dusatko.
Krazy Days Sale - July 15-17 2010
Since none of us had ever been around during Krazy Days, we had no idea what to expect. We decided on a pirate theme and got costumes to dress the part. Chantel, Audrey, Jill, and I all dressed as pirates with costumes provided by Isben Costumes out of Omaha. We had killer deals all throughout the week marking some items down to as low as $2.00! We had lots of traffic over the entire weekend-helping us move out some of our summer inventory to make room for the new fall fashions! A special thanks to the girls for working long hours that week - Chantel, Audrey, and Jill.

The Kloset and Olson's Photography Promotion
We decided to team up with Chantel's parents and do a senior photos promotion with Olson's Photography. In return for the seniors wearing our clothes in their photos, they received discounts on clothing and pictures. In addition- their photo was hung on The Kloset's walls in the store. Check out the store to see the awesome photo finishes that they created!
If you want more information on this promotion, stop by The Kloset or Olson's Photography.
A special thanks to Olson's Photography for helping us out with this great promotion!
